Our
Services
At Rockdale Cares, we offer
a variety of services and activities designed to both educate and entertain our clients.
ADVOCACY
Rockdale Cares works with local and state legislators to ensure that the rights and needs of intellectually and developmentally challenged citizens in Rockdale County and the counties around East Metro Atlanta are protected.
RESPITE SERVICES
We partner with service providers to provide a temporary housing for intellectually and developmentally disabled citizens to visit for a week or weekend stay; giving their families and caregivers a much needed break.
ADULT DAY PROGRAM
In partnership with InCommunity, we offer an adult day program to give our clients tools for independent living, personal development, self-advocacy, self-determination, and community inclusion.
GROUP HOME
We partner with View Point Health to provide permanent housing for intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
Rockdale Cares sponsors themed dinner dances, picnics, and holiday events designed to allow our clients the opportunity to meet others and just have FUN!
