Rockdale Cares is
a member of the ASPIRE coalition, whose
purpose is to bring Non-profits, Corporations,
Governments, and all citizens of Rockdale
County together to enrich the lives of
Special Needs people and their families
through recreation.

The Rockdale
County Department of Parks and Recreation |
The Rockdale County Department
of Parks and Recreation provides recreational
facilities and programs for the citizens
of Rockdale County, including developmentally
challenged citizens. The department operates
an outdoor and indoor swimming pool and
outdoor parks with playgrounds, a 650-acre
lake for boating and fishing, trails, recreation
center and ball fields as well as providing
recreational programming.

Lighthouse
Village |
When completed, the
Lighthouse Village, located on Sigman
Road, will house the Rockdale Cares Respite
House, emergency and transitional housing
for Rockdale Emergency Relief clients,
and the Dream House for medically fragile
children.
